This is a black Chantilly lace shawl dating from around 1860 -80.
It is a lozenge shape, designed to be folded over when worn. Elegant design of flower garlands on a dotted ground. 180 cms x 98 cms.
There are several small holes and repairs, nothing too obvious. Apart from this good condition.
