Antique 19th Century Ecclesiastical Appliqué with Doves

This is a goldwork ecclesiastical applique dating from the late 19th Century.  It has two silverwork doves and a gold chalice with gold sequins and red and black over embroidery.  Charmingly, the two doves appear to be picking red thread from the chalice to embroider IHS to the cross.  

There is some tarnish in places and a few loose threads, apart from this good condition. It is backed with paper.
