This is a small 19th Century French whitework embroidered handkerchief.  Soft semi transparent cotton lawn with a finely embroidered border of flowers and leaves. Monogram in one corner which appears to be ESP.

There are 2 small worn areas, one above the monogram and one to the border, otherwise good condition. Soft old white colour.
