Antique Embroidered Silk Handkerchief Centre With Birds

This is a small embroidered silk square with a central monogram and a bird in each corner. Monogram seems to be ABB.

I think this is most likely Swiss and was probably intended as a handkerchief centre. 

It measures 30 cms square, embroidery measures 18 cms square.

Off white colour with raw edges. There are a few pin holes and pulls to the silk, otherwise good condition.
