This is a 19th century whitework embroidered handkerchief with a crest and two crowns in one corner. Hand made Valenciennes lace border has a design of grapes and vines. The whitework embroidery and crest have been finely appliqued onto the lawn ground. Border has needlelace fillings.
It measures 34.5 cms square with a 4 cm lace border.
Excellent condition.
