This is a large black machine lace cape dating from around 1860. It has a sumptuous design of large flower bouquets.
Neck measures 47 cms, length at centre back 114 cms.
It is a good deep black. There are a couple of small repairs and tiny holes, a little wear at edges in some places, apart from this good condition.
