Antique 19th Century French Cotton Nightdress

This is a late 19th century French  nightdress with frilled collar and pintucked yolk. It is made from beautiful fine crisp cotton and all handstitched. There is an embroidered 'JM' monogram to the right of the front button opening.

This is the second of two French nightdresses that I am offering,  bought in Paris. Both have 'JM' monograms and obviously belonging to the same lady.

There is one tiny darned hole to sleeve, apart from this excellent condition.

Neck measures 13.5ins, shoulder to hem measures 50ins.
