This is a Brussels bobbin applique lace shawl dating from around 1860. It has a turnover design with squared lappet ends.

Measured flat 212cms x 107cms (61cms when folded).

It has a few fine professional darns to the centre net ground, otherwise excellent condition. Pale cream colour.
