This is miniature gentleman's linen shirt, a schoolgirl's plain sewing sample dating from around 1850. Beautifully detailed, it has small triangular gussets on shoulder and underarm triangular gussets. Good condition. It is antique white colour.

Length top to bottom measures 23.5cms. Cuff to cuff measured flat is 42cms. Underarm to underarm measured flat is 17cms.
