This a late 18th century man's silk embroidered waistcoat, with cotton back.

It has an all over sprigged design with silver sequin and white metallic thread border. 12 silk embroidered buttons. Silk embroidery to pockets and lower edge have a design of vines and grapes.

Overall good condition but there are some losses to sequins, faint underarm stains and a few small marks.
