This is a late 19th century lace box from L. Hanze Dessaer & C. Ostend. Made from paper covered thick card, with gilt edges and 2 vignettes to front. It is lined with turquoise silk with shop crest and name stamped in gold.

Less than good condition, worn scratched and chipped. One hinged clasp to bottom edge, top clasp missing.

This originally contained  two Brussels Point de Gaze borders already listed (items numbered 10155 & 10156)
