19th Century Crochet Lace Baby Bonnet with Handwritten Pattern

This is a crochet lace baby bonnet, edged with bobbin lace. Original silk ribbon threaded through carrier hole. There is an area of lower edge with no lace - I think the maker gathered the lace too tightly for the area to be covered! Excellent unused condition.

I found this in a small card box, along with handwritten instructions of how to crochet the bonnet.

Bonnet measures 18cms x 15.5cms. Box measures 15.5 x 8.5cms
