This is a fine pleated muslin chemisette with whitework border at neckline, dating from around 1830. Small red embroidered initial and crown to bottom corner. Mid ivory colour. Fine drawstring at top edge to adjust fit with original tapes at bottom edge.

It has a scattering of small rust marks but otherwise good condition.
