An Art Nouveau embroidered uncut fan leaf on a cream silk satin ground dating from early 20th century. Floss silk embroidery depicts a central winged cherub seated on a large Nigella flower ('love-in-a-mist'), flanked either side by sprays of Nigella and hearts encircled with thorns. Beautiful bright colours in excellent condition.
