This is an early 20th Century silk and lace pegnoir.
Made from hand made Irish crochet lace borders and machine Valenciennes lace, lined with lavender coloured habutai silk. Matching silk ribbon tie.
Wide boxy shape. Shoulder to hem - 146 cms. Chest 140 cms. Sleeve edge 40 cms.
There are two small dark brown rust spots and some age discoloration to back - lost in folds when worn. Please contact me for photographs of these. Apart from this good condition.
