This is a sample pattern book of early 19th century roller printed Manchester cotton. There are 50 different prints, each interleaved with tissue. Most of these sample prints are simple stripes, dots and checks. Colours are, in the main, pink, brown, lavender and rust.
Condition is generally good, but edges are a little frayed. Some of the samples are age browned. Top sample has small tear.
