These are a pair of square-toed cream silk satin pumps dating from around 1830. Both shoes have a Schenk label that lists addresses in London and Paris. One shoe has handwritten name of original owner, appears to read as M. de Wernon. One shoe still has original silk ribbon ties. The second just has one small piece remaining. The underside has signs of wear and the silk is a little dusty. On the back of one heel the silk is worn and shredding.
