This is a large, printed silk shawl, dating from around 1860. It has an allover design of green and magenta palmettes, with scrolling boteh motifs to border. Silk fringe to ends.
There is a repaired tear to one end, a 7 cms split to field and the occasional small split to outer edge, apart from this good condition.
