This is a vibrant 1920s Chinese silk embroidered shawl with long knotted fringe.
Shades of pink, red and turquoise on a buff coloured silk.
It measures 154 cms square with a 36 cms knotted fringe.
There are a few scattered pale age marks and the occassional pulled thread to embroidery, apart from this good condition.
Beautifully embroidered, reverse side almost the same as front.
