This is a wonderful large square Brussels lace turnover shawl with mixed bobbin and needle lace motifs.
One diagonal half has a dense pattern of flower bouquets and sprays. The other half has a dotted net ground with a border of flower buds, leaves and medallions.
It measures 208 cms square.
Some brown age marks in places, apart from this condition good, no holes or damage.
This is part of a Scottish family collection from Cullaloe House, Fife.
