Jenny Sargeant specialises in antique lace and textiles, sourced in both France and England.
She has run her business for over a decade, continuing a lifelong career working in fashion and textiles.
After graduating from her first degree in Fashion, she developed a successful career as a designer, selling in London stores, including Harrods.
Taking time out to study for an M.A. in History at Warwick University she pursued research into the material culture of the 18th Century and the role of retail in textiles and fashion. This provided the catalyst for a move from designer to dealer.
She has presented papers at conferences and continues to research her subject area.
She loves to hunt for beautiful and interesting pieces and takes great pleasure in matching them to collectors.
