Lavender moiré silk fan with Honiton lace applique dating from the late 19th century. Exotic birds holding a garland in their beaks, flanked by butterflies and flying insects. Carved and pierced bone monture. Backed with cream silk.
Small brown stain to back silk lining (not visible from front) and small split with loss to edging (see photos). Apart from this good.
