This is a very pretty and delicate Brussels Point de Gaze lace lappet. It has small butterfly motifs scattered along the length of the lappet and one with raised wings at each end.
It measures 105cms long x 10.05cms wide, narrowing to 5cms in the centre.
Pale ivory colour. There are two small repairs and the occasional small brown age mark, apart from this good condition.
