This is a particularly beautiful Brussels Point de Gaze lace bertha scattered with many double petalled roses. There are garlands of flowers around the border with rose and rosebud sprays at neckline.
Bought from a family collection, the original owner escaped from Vienna to the USA in the 1930s, eventually settling in England.
Neck measures 100 cms. Depth at centre back 17.5 cms. Pale ivory colour Very good condition, just the ocassional tiny pin hole.
