This is a small lawn handkerchief with a coronet, monogram and embroidered illustration 'Le Reynard et la Bouc', a Jean de la Fontaine fable, in one corner.
The very fine embroidery shows a goat in a well with clever Mr Fox scampering away. Underneath the coronet of a viscount and an E O monogram.
There is a small worn hole to the underside of the double hem in one corner with some slight discoloration (see the last photograph). Apart from this good condition.
