This is a whitework embroidered handkerchief from the late 19th century.
There are flower bouquets at each corner and a garland of tiny flowers around the border. Delicate needlelace fillings to the motifs. It has a tiny embroidered cross in the centre.
Soft off white colour. The centre doesn't quite lie flat (see photo 2), otherwise good condition, probably unused.
