This is a small fine lawn handkerchief dating from the second half of the 19th Century.
Finely hand embroidered fleur de lys motifs around the border with needle lace infills. Large monogram in one corner with coronet and fleur de lys embellishment.
Pale ivory colour. Slightly less than good condition - one neat darn, 4 pinholes and a small 0.5 cm opening to cotton lawn - see photos.
