Large early 19th Century embroidered handkerchief with figurative motifs to each corner and a  hand made Valenciennes lace border. 

Border of padded satin stitch dots and floral motifs. Floral spray and motifs to each corner - a water dog, a sailing ship, a rural scene and a spray of violas.  The dog has a brown coloured eye.

Pale ivory colour. Excellent condition.
