This is a French hand sewn white cotton nightdress dating from the early 20th Century.
Fine crisp cotton with machine Valenciennes lace insertions and Swiss embroidered medallions. Fastens with tiny mother of pearl buttons. Small embroidered RJ monogram. Flounced three-quarter length sleeves.
Large loose fit. Bust 114 cms. Length front neck to hem 134 cms.
Excellent condition, may be unused. It has been gently laundered.
