This is a fine muslin pelerine with whitework embroidery, circa 1830.
It has tiny serrated edging, oversewn with buttonhole stitch. Border has leaf and flower design.
Neck measures 42 cms. Depth at centre back 25 cms.
A couple of small holes, apart from this excellent condition.
