This is a stunning pale pink silk chiffon and machine lace bodice dating from around 1905-1907. It is particularly beautiful from the back, very typical of the period. A frothy creation with strong underpinnings, there is an inbuilt boned corset and the pleated chiffon neckline has a sturdy silk inner band. All hand stitched.
Waist measures 28ins, bust 33ins.
The fine silk chiffon is a little worn in places with some tears at the neckline, but this is supported by the silk lining. In addition there is a small hole to the underarm, apart from this good condition for such a delicate piece.
