This is a frothy lingerie jacket with split sleeves dating from the early 20th Century. .
Made from dotted muslin with pintucks, machine Valenciennes lace insertions and flounces. Crochet lace inserts to neck and shoulders.
Sleeves are open from the shoulder. Fastens with one small pearl button to front. .
Shown on a size 8 mannequin. Centre back measures 43 cms. Centre front 44 cms.
Well loved. the lace border fraying slightly in places and there are a couple of neat repairs. It has been recently laundered and is suitable for gentle wear. .
