This is a man's large linen nightshirt dating from the late 18th Century, probably from the Netherlands.
It has 1770 embroidered in faded red to either side of the front opening. Embroidered collar with three button holes and one small button.
Length neck to hem 109cms, chest 174cms.
This is beautiful soft linen. There are a couple of pale brown age marks, apart from this excellent condition.
