A cream silk dress dating from around 1780. Fine self-stripe with woven flower motif in coloured silk. Pleated band of silk on skirt front and neckline. Bodice and sleeve lined in white linen. Skirt finely pleated on to bodice.
A very pretty dress with beautiful silhouette. Bodice has been reduced in size. Some marks to underarms with short tear to one side, sleeve ends have several small vertical tears but generally in good condition, clean and has been well stored.
